Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative with HVAC industry experience to support customers, generate quotations, process orders, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HVAC products, systems, and applications, along with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, outside sales representatives, manufacturers, and internal operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service and sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding HVAC equipment, parts, accessories, and system solutions.
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotations for HVAC products and services.
  • Process customer orders and ensure order accuracy from entry through fulfillment.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, facility managers, distributors, and end users.
  • Identify sales opportunities and proactively recommend products and solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Collaborate with outside sales representatives to support customer accounts and sales initiatives.
  • Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to obtain pricing, lead times, technical information, and product availability.
  • Track and follow up on quotations to convert opportunities into sales.
  • Provide technical product support and basic HVAC application guidance to customers.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and pipeline opportunities within CRM systems.
  • Resolve customer concerns, order issues, and product-related inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Stay informed on HVAC industry trends, new products, regulations, and market developments.
  • Assist in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or sales support experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment, controls, ventilation, indoor air quality products, and mechanical systems.
  • Experience preparing quotes, processing orders, and managing customer accounts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
